ST BERNADETTE CLUB

Caring for and supporting people with physical, sensory and learning disabilities

Welcome to The St Bernadette Club

The St Bernadette Club is an extended family of friends made up of people with disabilities (the beneficiaries) and people who support our aims (the volunteers), where everyone is a member.

We aim to promote social inclusion by assisting people with disabilities to integrate more fully into society from which they can otherwise be excluded.

Our many volunteers invite people with physical, sensory and learning disabilities to meet in warm friendship and enjoy a wide range of physical, educational and leisure activities.

The St Bernadette Club is a voluntary, non-denominational organisation where everyone is welcome and everyone is equal and no charges are made.

We are a Registered Charity (1136218) and a Company Limited by Guarantee (7086775) working in all areas of Newcastle upon Tyne and neighbouring North Tyneside.

We hope that you find our website informative and easy to navigate. It is designed to give an insight to the outstanding quality of the friendship and continuous support built up between our members since our formation in 1962.

If you would like more information please don’t hesitate to contact us, or better still arrange to come and join us at one of our Thursday evening Club sessions.
